Hola, hors! This guy, like some lucky people, has ALL the talent. While I can't draw a straight line to save my life, my man is out here on the street whipping up masterpieces - USING A PUPPET! Oy, save some talent for the rest of us, will ya ðŸ˜
This beautiful piece of art was painted by Thomas Moran in 1864. It depicts a creek that flows in Philadelphia, PA and is one of Moran's earlier works from his long career. The gorgeous earthy colours and still water really convey the peaceful atmosphere of this wonderful season. Do you have any favourite autumnal art, Peckers? "Swing" - Louis Icart, 1928 Look! It's me, fresh off the Express Coach to hell, blissfully swaying on the seat saved for me by my fellow merry miscreants! The heat? Oh, we don't mind her - we were BORN scorching hot. See you firey babes in due time! *kiss*
I recently came across this piece of art by American painter Stevan Dohanos, which was originally used as the cover for the September 8th, 1956 issue of The Saturday Evening Post . Dohanos painted over 100 covers of the magazine, and also designed stamps for the US postal service among many other projects during his life. This piece is one of my favourite summer-related artworks. Do you have a piece of art that just screams "summer" to you? Source: The Illustrated Gallery
