The Loon and Las Vegas is usually about a wild, insane gambling, slot-machine obsessive, or someone who ran off to get married officiated by jumpsuit bedazzled Elvis. Not in this case. The Loon is actually a rare, yellow-billed loon who usually hangs out exclusively in the Arctic. Not this time, my friends. The bird took the sky and landed in the Bellagio Hotel's fountains.  Loon was on the lamb. He was running from something and needed a fresh start in a new town. He figured he could finally see Vegas, set up shop, blend in, and have no questions asked. He would be good this time and give up his life of crime, such as stealing food and swimming where he didn't belong. Imagine, he thought, all this to myself.  Poor guy miscalculated and was soon rescued and taken into custody. His adventure was thwarted and he was going back to face the music which he didn't think was fair. At all.
