This is a haboob. This Arabic term for a blowing or blasting caught on over the years to describe these sorts of dust storms with a strong boundary between the ambient air and the denser air blowing in from a thunderstorm or surface dryline or cold front. The term is originally from Khartoum, Sudan, which is well known for these types of storms.
