OPEN POST: The Case of the Hacked Construction Sign

I think we can all agree that Mondays are hard. Combine that with sweltering heat, and you've got a recipe for crankiness. Well, a still-unknown Houstonian decided to take their frustrations out on a construction sign this past Monday by hacking it to write the notice "Due to weather, go f--k yourself." The sign stayed up for several hours at an intersection in the city, and was seen by thousands of commuters. With temps in Houston reaching 96 degrees with 73% humidity, it's not hard to see why someone might have reached their tipping point. As someone who is from a very humid province, nearly every person you chat with about the weather (which is everyone, since it's all we can seem to talk about here) will remind you that "it's not the heat that gets ya, it's the humidity!" Maybe the sign was a little pick-me-up for those commuters, I know it would be for me!
