EVENING NIGHTCAP: Tay-Tay Drags Her Old Squad Into New Fauxmance (with Hugh as a bonus). Sia Gets A Facelift. Jodie & Joshua Split Up.

Today we have a couple who I'm very skeptical about. Another who is breaking up. And then we have Sia who is uncoupling with her prop closet. Here we go. 

► Tay-Tay and Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs football player continue their fauxmance. She was spotted again at one of his games. This time she dragged Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds (members of her old squad) and Hugh Jackman to the game. Read More BTW, Grace Hunt, the daughter of the team's owner (who works the PR for the team) said this about the couple in a recent interview:  

"Taylor's massive following spans across continents, and her fans are known for their unwavering support,' the influencer and philanthropist gushed. With Travis' undeniable talent, and Taylor's massive global fanbase, I hope that the Swifties will join Chiefs Kingdom in cheering for the red and gold." - Grace Hunt, in an interview for Daily Mail, September 25, 2023

Comment: Call me a cynic, but this whole pairing between Tay-Tay and Travis stinks of a PR stunt. Here me out:  Clark Hunt is the owner of the team. His daughter, Grace -  a 24 yr old ex-beauty queen, handles the team's public relations. She's into celeb and influence culture. As one of the wealthiest families in the country (they made their bazillions on oil), they can easily afford to concoct this type of stunt to boost ticket sales, merchandise sales, and increase the team's value. Plus, it's a career jolt for Travis. Before all of this nonsense, it was "Travis who?" Free publicity for him and the team! And we all know Tay-Tay and her handlers wrote the modern day playbook on fame-marketing fauxmances. It's a win-win for all involved.

► Jodie Turner Smith and Joshua Jackson are done with each other. After 4 years of marriage and sharing a 3 year old daughter, Jodie filed for divorce. She checked off the "irreconcilable differences" box in the court filing. Read More

Comment: The only thing I know about them are their appearances on the red carpet - they were a stylish couple. He was in Dawson's Creek - which I never watched. She's a model turned actress in a few TV shows that I don't watch either. I hope they keep their divorce amicable for their daughter's sake. 

► Sia, who is best known to hide her face behind big bows, wigs, and whatever else she finds in a discarded prop closet announced she had a face lift. At the 5th annual Daytime Beauty Awards (didn't know that shit existed), she thanked her surgeon and award recipient Dr. Ben Talei. BTW, is there a Nightime Beauty Awards? Read More

This British guy invented a dating idea for men, such as himself, with large ones. He claims he is so big he has trouble at airport security. The bloke here says it is challenging to find trousers. So this is his solution because we all know that a simple salad vegetable is the key to this guy's  dating woes.  I know that size can matter. It can. But I would be much more disturbed by a man perusing the cucumbers, looking for one to chuck in his cart so he can parade around a supermarket looking for dates, than by some man's gigantic appendage. Any man who would do that is off the list forever. This would say all the wrong things about him. My personality doesn't matter, babe; look, I am packing 10 inches, so ignore my brown busted sole tooth in my mouth and hop on for a great ride, baby!
