OPEN POST: Prague’s Mummified Warning Arm

When I was in Prague, I visited St James Basillica and saw this:


Apparently, this is a 400 year old arm. The legend is that a thief snuck in and tried to steal jewels from the Virgin Mary. Her statue clamped down on him and held him there til morning, and the only way he could be removed was by chopping off his arm.

So, it’s still there today to warn you to keep your damn hands to yourself.

After eight years, Jessica Lange will be returning for the 5,856th  13th season of American Horror Story . Ryan Murphy Productions' instagram page shared this photo announcing that filming for the latest season has begun this week. In response to one of the comments on the post, Murphy appeared to confirm that this season would be a continuation of the "Coven" storyline from season 3.  Will you be tuning in to this new season, Peckers?

OPEN POST: Manor Music Monday With The Legendary La Lupe!

Greetings, sloots, and welcome to another edition of Manor Music Monday, today with a sunny visit to "The Pearl of the Antilles," as it was once called, or "El Cocodrilo," which translates to "The Crocodile," since viewed from above, this is the country's shape on a map. I speak of Cuba, of course, from yesteryear to today, where, if its achingly slow rebirth isn't quashed by El Jefe de Covfefe, distinctive music has and will hopefully continue to flourish. Since my delicious, squeezable hubs is from Cuba, I've long known about the country's culture, food and music, all of which are practically inseparable.
