► Well, well, well....look who decided to fess up about the sudden weight loss.  After vehemently denying she didn't use weight loss medication such as Ozempic, Oprah is now admitting she did. In an interview with Liars Anonymous People Magazine, she said she started using the weight loss med right before Thanksgiving.  Oprah didn't disclose which med she's on.  She went on to explain her decision to turn to the quickie fix to lose weight. "Winfrey said she took the medication before Thanksgiving “because I knew I was going to have two solid weeks of eating,” she told People, and "instead of gaining eight pounds like I did last year, I gained half a pound. ... It quiets the food noise.” She’s now 7 pounds away from her goal weight of 160 pounds, she told People. "I now use it as I feel I need it, as a tool to manage not yo-yoing,” she told People.

Comment: Warning....RANT AHEAD: Um, okay Oprah, that's all fine and dandy. But what's her explanation for lying her ass off when asked about it? BTW back in the 1990s she lost a ton of weight through diet and exercise (plus I suspect stomach stapling but who knows). So obviously she's capable of living a healthier lifestyle and not resorting to medication that's in short supply for diabetics. But, it's Oprah we're talking about. It's more important for her to lose a few vanity pounds to look good hitting the red carpet circuit to promote the musical reboot of Color Purple than it is to think about some poor schmuck who can't get Ozempic to control their diabetes because celebs like her want to look good.  Piss off Oprah.  Rant over.

► American actor Andre Braugher, best known for his roles in TV shows Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Homicide: Life on the Street has died. He was 61.  According the official statement, Andre had been suffering from a brief illness (no details were disclosed). In addition to TV, Andre appeared on the big screen including the 1989 movie Glory with Matthew Broderick (which was Andre's breakout role), Primal Fear, City of Angels, She Said, and Frequency.  Andre got his start in acting after graduating from Stanford University and attending Julliard. He began his acting career on the NY stage. Andre won 2 Emmys and a Television Critics Award. Andre is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ami, and three sons.  Read More

Comment: I watched Glory many years ago and thought he was the best part of the movie. His acting ran circles around Matthew Broderick. There was a precision in his acting talent that's hard to describe. I also enjoyed him in Homicide and Brooklyn Nine where his presence beautifully magnified the characters he was playing without making them caricatures. It takes someone with outstanding talent to be able to do that.  Condolences to his family. 

► Tay-Tay decided to skip the gala Time Magazine (she was named their person of the year) and instead opted to party with her friends for her birthday. Her squad 2.0 included Miles Teller plus his wife, and Selena Gomez. They were seen at club Zero Bond in NYC.  Her contract beau Travis was not there. Read More

Comment: If I was named Time Magazine Person of the Year, I sure has hell would attend the gala and not skip it go hang out with friends I see all the damn time...not that I don't like them but come one, how often does a person have the opportunity to be given that honor. I don't care if it was my birthday. I would ask Time Magazine to reserve a table for my family and friends; and I would request a few doggie bags so I can take home succulent leftovers for my doggie.  You know the food at a shindig thrown by Time Magazine is going to awesome. No crappy buffet for that crowd of movers & shakers.  Me thinks Tay-Tay is getting too big for her britches.

Comment:  Overall, I agree with their list.  I totally forgot the CW Network exists. It's been a long, long time since I watched it. I would have thought Netflix would be on the Losers List but I guess they think shows like Wednesday, The Crown, and others have redeemed them. I did cackle when I saw Walmart Wallis and Prince Waagh on the list. It's safe to say those two have become outcasts in Hollywood and social circles...basically the planet.
