Cologne, Germany, is a cosmopolitan city that has plenty to offer a tourist looking for everything and I mean everything (wink wink)- history, culture, and a liberal attitude that would make even the most free-wheeling Peckerite blush. It's been named the world's most sexually liberal (and liberated) city, and it's not hard to see why. With a plethora of legal sex clubs, brothels, and erotica shops, it's like the city took the phrase "love is in the air" quite literally and decided to turn it into a lifestyle. So, if you're planning a visit, don't forget to pack your open mind, condoms, and your toothbrush.

But Cologne has more than a liberal attitude towards sex to offer. So in between enjoying the scene, you can also take in some culture. Is there anything worse than a boring incurious slut? I think not. So throw on some clothes and go see the Cologne Cathedral, the world's highest religious edifice. It is also a good time to cleanse your whorish soul and get in a little exercise by climbing to the top and taking in a spectacular view of your new favorite city.

The biggest carnival celebration in Germany, known as the Cologne Carnival or Karneval, is hosted here and you would be a lucky tourist to experience it. It's like a roast session but with costumes, parades, and a lot of candy. So, if you've ever wanted to see a bare-chested Putin steering a tank or the orange menace playing a harp, this is the place to be. Plus candy. 

It is also a city that embraces diversity and inclusivity. It hosts 23 LGBTQ+ events throughout the year, the most of any city in the Sexually Liberal City Index. Cologne Pride, also known as CSD (Christopher Street Day), is one of Europe's most vibrant pride events. It's like a glittery rainbow exploded and showered the city with love and equality, literally spreading glitter everywhere. You will be finding it in your hair and clothes for weeks afterward. With over a million visitors annually, it's the perfect place to let your rainbow flag fly high and get your freak on.

Is Sunday a day of rest for you? How do you lazy? During the summer, me and the hubs sometimes pop gummies and float in the pool or meet friends for brunch. OPEN POST: Start Your Week With Cher! Hoooooooooo!

It's Monday, which is harsh enough. But everything's better with one simple ingredient: Cher. See? Just reading that made you feel good.  Did you know? She was almost cast in "Thelma & Louise." No, for reals.  Before Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis were cast, she was offered one of the lead roles, but turned it down. Why? We don't know. Cher will be Cher. OPEN POST: Life in Plastic, it's Fantastic!

  I was recently reminiscing about visiting my grandmother's house and totally forgot that she had her couch and loveseat wrapped in plastic! Furniture from "back in the day" lasted much longer than it seems to now, so it's not surprising our elders wanted to make sure it stayed pristine, even if you got swamp ass while sitting on it on a hot day!
