OPEN POST: For the Love of Boa

Aretha Franklin

Today's post is a love letter to a beloved, timeless accessory: the boa. Dating back to at least the early 1800s, this fashion favorite was named after the snake of which it resembles. My current regret in life is having never experienced the eleganza of wearing one of these beauties, so on the bucket list this year it goes. If you happen to see me strolling down the avenue and the fashion is just too much for you, you'll just have to excuse my beauty!
