► I must have missed the memo about the reboot/remake/rehash of the 1989 classic "War Of The Roses", which starred Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas as spouses in a messy divorce. Danny Devito directed it (and was also in it). The 2024 reboot stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman as the feuding spouses. Joining them will be Kate McKinnon and Andy Samberg. The regurgitation of the 1989 movie is getting a 2024 makeover (or "re-imagining" in Hollywood speak) with the plot having a more contemporary premise. From what I was able to read about the new plot, it will be about a couple who can't stand each other due to professional jealousy, which results in chaos. WTF is earth shattering about that? Below are photo stills from production. No word on its release date. Read More

Comment: Who the hell asked for this reboot? The original movie was just fine. I enjoyed it and while not one of my favorites flicks, it did reunite Kathleen Turner, Michael Douglas, and Danny Devito together again since starring in "Romancing The Stone" - which is a good, fun movie.
► The Tony Awards were held last night and the only people that I know that watched it were those who were being held against their will at the 4:00 pm early dinner at Luby's Cafeteria. Since PW Manor readers love fashuuun, below are some of celebs prancing on the red carpet. Read More
Comment: First up is Angelina Jolie and her daughter, Vivienne. The smug looking Angelina wore velvet drapes from the set of "Dark Shadows". Vivienne's facial expression says it all. Poor kid looks like she'd rather be anywhere else but smizing for the camera. BTW, Vivienne (15) is working as her mom's assistant (Angelina is one of the producers of The Outsiders). Jordan Roth showed up in a goth Mrs. Roper ensemble that is better suited for a Tim Burton movie. Ariana DeBose's dress was suppose to mimic stained glass but to me it looks like flagstone or pavers...or a 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle (take your pick). Nikiya Mathis must have been inspired by Joseph & The Technicolor Dreamcoat in the frock she wore...which looked terrible. Idina Menzel's dress is making me dizzy. It looks like a bad wind art kinetic sculpture.

► Blake Lively showed plebs and commoners how entitled she is by parading in her new $19,000 Valentino jeans in a IG post. Blake was in Texas doing the ho-hum stroll promoting her new movie, “It Ends With Us”. The jeans have cut-outs of flowers but to me, they look like it was eaten by moths. I guess the Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants is now globetrotting in jeans that cost more than what a fast food worker getting paid minimum wage makes in a year. Read More
Comment: Imagine all the things you could buy with $19,000! I secretly hope that her kids take a Sharpie to the jeans and that a dog pisses all over it.
