As I was watering my 30+ plants today I thought I'd ask you Peckers how enthusiastic you are about plants, and how many you have if you do! I know some of you have VERY green thumbs and it's always a delight to see the spoils of your hard work on here. As far as houseplants, what are your favourites? Mine is probably the simple Pothos. It grows well, creates a beautiful accent to any home, and propagating it with little jars makes me feel like a green witch!

  I was recently reminiscing about visiting my grandmother's house and totally forgot that she had her couch and loveseat wrapped in plastic! Furniture from "back in the day" lasted much longer than it seems to now, so it's not surprising our elders wanted to make sure it stayed pristine, even if you got swamp ass while sitting on it on a hot day! I even remember a family friend having a strip of plastic along their carpet that you had to walk on. Did your family do this, Peckers? Source: Tribune
