EVENING NIGHTCAP: Beyonce's 13-Minute Paycheck. Amanda Bynes Update.
► BeYAWNce's paycheck for her 13-minute performance at the Ravens vs. Texans NFL football game was a staggering $20 million. That comes to $1,538,461.54 per minute. In addition, her production costs, travel, and miscellaneous expenses were all covered. Before you say anything, "miscellaneous expenses" did not include Jay Z's legal fees. But, it probably covered the corn husk hair extensions and assless chaps she wore. If you missed Ms. Cowboy Carter's country ho-down, it featured her 12 year old daughter, Blue Ivy, dancing and looking like a member of the Pussycat Dolls. Beyonce's paycheck is part of a $60 million deal she made with Netflix for three projects. Read More

Comment: I didn't watch BeYAWNce strut her stuff because I don't follow the Baltimore Ravens or Houston Texans football teams; and Beyonce's hair flipping skills don't appeal to me. Also, I have issues with Beyonce and the pile of dung known as Jay Z....and their parenting skills, among other things. IMO, putting a 12 year old child on stage and sexualizing her in front of millions is a big HELL NO in my book. Blue Ivy is a little girl. She should be allowed to enjoy her childhood in private and not shoved on the world' stage at such a young age. She's a child who lacks the maturity to deal with the dangers of fame. With the parents she has and a publicity hungry grandmother (Tina K), Blue Ivy didn't stand a chance at a "normal" childhood. Sad.
► We haven't heard about Amanda Bynes for a while, so when I caught wind of news about her, I was curious to read what she's been up to. Amanda received her Associates of Arts degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Last week she had her first ever art show in Los Angeles and exhibited paintings titled "Stars," "Grey," "Night" and "Lavender Dreams." In addition to the paintings, Amanda showed off her new chola-tastic Sharpie eyebrows. That is truly an art form! Read More and Tik Tok Video
Comment: It's good to see Amanda smiling, safe, and enjoying herself. After years of dealing with substance abuse and mental health issues, she seems to have found some semblance of a normal life. I wish her all the best.
