Island Girl, aka IG, just rolled into the 'hood in her brand-new Chevy - and she is the envy of all her neighbors! Such sleekness, such style. Even Gladys (that nosey neighbor who always finds something to criticize) went silent with envy. As for Agnes, well Aggie's agog with admiration. Even Horace (Velma's husband from down the block) came out to take a look, although (let's get real) he really just wanted to check out IG herself. The car was purely secondary. In 1948, lots of big important stuff happened, like President Truman signing the Marshall Plan, which gave 5 billion dollahs in aid to 16 countries. Later that same year he signed Executive Order 9981, ending racial segregation in the U.S. Armed Forces. OPEN POST: Ariana Grande's Butterfly Dress

Ariana Grande wore this custom Robert Wun dress for her performance at the "Wicked: One Wonderful Night" special. The blush pink piece was adorned with delicate butterflies on the bodice and skirt. Wun also created matching earrings and gloves to complete the look. I know Brows Grande is not popular in the Manor but I appreciate the sheer artistry of this look and think it suits her birdlike frame quite well.
