PECKERWOOD'S WEEKLY LUNOCRACY POST! For the Week of 1/20/2025

 

Nothing will taint this day. Nothing, and I look at it like it is an omen. MLK will be remembered a lot today, and there will be a comparison and contrast. We may need the words to remember to RESIST. We may need more courage. We will not give the other person our energy and mental health. He doesn't deserve it. It could be that Martin is looking down on us and smiling, knowing what will come. It is his day. What would he say to us? He would never tell us to give up. 

His final speech brings me to my knees with tears. He knew what was coming, like a prophet looking, speaking the inevitable. But there is also a message there, and today is a good day to hear it.
