EVENING NIGHTCAP: Ah, schucks...Bummer For Ryan. Woes For Justina. Presented Without Comment.

►MNTN, a global digital agency that is the parent company of Ryan Reynold's production company Maximum Effort, is offloading its interest to "an affiliate of its original owner". Ha, ha!  My guess is MNTN is selling their stake back to Ryan to rid themselves of the stink from the bad press drama between him-Blake-and director Justin Baldoni. Can't blame MNTN, who needs that kind of attention.  As part of the "buh-bye" transaction, the 2 companies entered into an agreement where Maximum Effort, "will continue to provide some creative services to MNTN". BTW, Ryan Reynolds serves as the Chief Creative Officer for MNTN. Oh, where does he find the time to fight Justin, work for a global company, make movies, and attend red carpet events to flash his condescending smug at the paps? Anywhichway, I gotta believe that MNTM is now trying to figure out an exit plan to get rid of Deadpool from their staff. In case you care (and I don't blame you if you don't),  Ryan started Maximum Effort in 2018 with George Dewey. They were behind Deadpool, Mint Mobile ads, and Welcome to Wrexham.  Read More

Comment: Ryan and Blake are working overtime to repair the damage to their image over the drama between them and director Justin Baldoni. Their appearance at SNL's 50th anniversary didn't help. They were greeted like 2 unwanted telemarketers. Since the mess started, insiders claim Ryan and Blake have used their influence and status in Hollywood to get their way if they don't like something. Have they turned into 2 entitled brats who think they own the playground? Who knows. We will have to wait for the facts to be sorted when the lawsuits make their way to the courts like a bad chimichanga.

► And in other sucks to be you news: Justina Timberlake's "Forget Tomorrow" world tour and new album to support it  has been a flop and plagued with issues. The funniest review I read was from the Independent, which gave it 2-stars and said, "it was about as sexy as a soiled mattress". Oh, then there's the micropeen wardrobe malfunction he had..ha, ha!  To add to his woes, about 2 weeks ago, Justina performed at Minnesooooooda. According to a review of the concert by the Minnesota Star Tribune, he only performed 11 songs and they were all from his shitty new album. He tried to get the audience to sing along and clap but was met with chirping crickets. Justina's problems didn't end there. They followed him to Columbus, Ohio where he's cancelled twice. The most recent cancellation occurred a few days ago. It happened 10 minutes before the start of the show. Justina said he had the flu. Hey, I get it. Getting the flu is miserable. But why wait until the last second to  cancel the show if you were feeling like crap all day? Fans were pissed at him, not for being sick but for waiting until the last micropeen second to ejaculate cancel when they were seated. Instead of rescheduling the show, he issued refunds, just like when he cancelled the first time back in November. BTW, he pulled the same stunt of cancelling at the last minute at Oklahoma City last year. Read More

Comment: Doesn't this limp noodle realize that you never call in sick 5 minutes before you're suppose to show up for work? That's true for any job, especially for an entertainer. He knew ahead of time he was sick. Show some consideration for the few fans he still has left. I predict we'll see more cancellations in his future.
