Hooray! You've come to the right place. Raincoaster, Peckerwood's esteemed and slutty film curator, has selected another winning movie for tonight's Klassy Manor Movie Night. It's "Harry & Snowman," a critically-acclaimed, universally beloved documentary - you can read The Hollywood Reporter review here - in which an aging horse, of course, is sold to a slaughterhouse. Yet fate intervenes. And, yes, every bit of this jaw-dropping story is true.  To watch tonight's movie with Raincoaster and your fellow Manor hors, keep an eye on the comment section. Take note, hors! Raincoaster, Peckerwood Manor's esteemed and slutty movie curator, is hosting another movie night this Friday, 1/23, starting at 6:30pm EST. And trust me, you won't want to miss it. Links and further details will be unfurling in coming posts. As you'll recall, Raincoaster once introduced us to giggly beavers...and now she's introducing us to a magnificent horsie with a head-turning story in this must-see 2016 documentary from director Ron Davis. Meet "Snowman," a weary, anonymous Amish carthorse, age unknown, with harness sores. When he went to auction, he was sold to a horse meat dealer and loaded onto a trailer. Uh-oh. That's when Harry spotted him and made a much better offer. He thought this horse would be useful for lessons at the girls school he was teaching at.  But Snowman turned out to be a great deal more than that.
