I saw this (I think) 1979 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in the parking structure one Saturday night (I ran out there to have a very brief smoking break), and though it's not my idea of a beautiful car, it was big and boxy and flashy, so I had to take a pic. In 1979, Fleetwood Mac had a big hit with the "Tusk" album, and though the reaction from critics and buyers was mixed, I do love the title song's video: So how's your Wednesday going? I love driving. It's the best way to clear my mind after a busy day at work. Radio on, windows rolled down, the wind rustling through my long luxurious locks late at night. "Sara" by Fleetwood Mac is a summer song, "Boys Of Summer" (of course) and "Ventura Highway" by America, too.  "Ventura Highway, in the suuuunshine, where the days are longer, the nights are stronger, than mooooonshine..." This isn't Ventura Highway, but I drove down to the beach earlier today, and it works for me. But you know what the most summer'y song I've ever heard is? It's this one, and I always seem to hear it when I'm driving and the windows are rolled down and it's breezy and warm, usually at dusk or after dark. It's somber and thoughtful and sad, but I love it so much (believe it or not, even more than "Boys of Summer") so this is my official pick. I chose this particular version bc I don't know what anyone in that band ...
