It's 1954, and "I Love Lucy" is the #1 show on TV, but "The Jackie Gleason Show"  and  "Dragnet" are also very popular, while Loretta swirls into our homes every week on her eponymous show: Hey! I just got my learner's permit  and (since dad just got a raise) he's in a good mood so he's allowing me to take the Pontiac Chieftain for a spin around town, but I don't DARE go over 5 MPH! And what do you know, I just turned on the radio and this new hit by The Chordettes is playing: So hop in, and tell me all about that dreamy guy in your Geography class ( and the dreamy teacher, too )--after all, it's Open Post, darlings!
