I used to have a negative opinion of Kate Middleton. In my eyes, she appeared to be a passive and uninteresting figure, seemingly overshadowed by her bland husband, Prince William. I couldn't respect her game. I still don't. Personally, I was never the little girl who dreamed of being a princess or a queen; biracial girls were never the princess, and I got the message. Not for you .  Besides, a career smiling and waving and living with ridiculous protocols is not a life I envy. Chasing William was like hunting down a stale box of water crackers no one wanted. The stories boldly circulating about the aristocratic Diana types refusing to entertain the thought of being his queen, even though he had approached many of them, were just too cringeworthy and, frankly, pitiful. Sometimes the Prince of Wales shows himself, and we see who is behind the mask of smiles of waves. He has always been spared from lurid stories about him because the Royal Press office has wrangled the press into submission. He must be very popular, or people will start paying attention to the hundreds of millions of dollars he and his wife have demanded to improve residences, including the Middleton's home. It was outfitted with a tennis court because Kate might come over and want to play tennis. If the public does not love him, then the crown is in trouble, so what he does gets swept under rugs, and when Harry shared a press office with him, he was the scapegoat. He had to look lesser even though he excelled at the things William was mediocre at. Harry was by far the better polo player, more charming, better with the public, and less sulky. That was how things used to be.  However, Harry is still being trashed while the press acts like William is perfection. How does this happen?
