EVENING NIGHTCAP: Angelina is employing her child army. Dax & Kristen are at it again. People want Sandra Bullock's Oscar revoked (good luck with that).

 

► Angelina Jolie seems to be opening her own employment agency by giving her child army nepo jobs. In case you didn't hear, last year she collaborated with her sons, Maddox (21 yr)  and Pax (19 yr) on the film "Without Blood" which stars Salma Hayek. The boys worked behind the scenes in the assistant director department - working the cameras, serving as still photographers, and other stuff. Now, Angelina has hired 15 yr old daughter Vivienne to be involved in the Broadway production of  the musical "The Outsiders". Vivienne told her mom she's interested in a future in theater -  and what better way to get on-the-job experience as a teen than to serve as assistant to the producer (who happens to be her mom). Angelina was interviewed why she's producing Broadway show. She said a bunch of nonsense about how theater was her first love and finding her way back to Broadway, bla bla bla.    Read More

Comment: I applaud teens who want to work. But for nepo babies, their jobs aren't like regular teenager jobs - you know, flipping burgers, babysitting, bagging groceries, or being a camp counselor. For nepo babies, it's jumping several rungs on the career ladder and straight to a job that probably took an industry professional years to master and secure.  

► Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell - the walking desiccant couple because the suck the air out of any room they enter, want everyone to know they're not swingers. Kristen was a guest on Dax's podcast when they decided to tell everyone they're not into orgies or the swing lifestyle. For years, Dax has made jokes to anyone who'll listen to him about swingers. ► A groundswell is brewing on social media for Sandra Bullock's to have her Oscar revoked for the movie Blind Side since Michael Oher is claiming the Tuohy's lied about him being adopted and the sham they pulled to make millions. Fans are going on Twitter to express their frustrations at being duped. One person wrote, "If the Michael Oher allegations are true then we have to go AND TAKE THE OSCAR back from Sandra Bullock and give it to Gabourey Sidibe for ‘Precious’." Another wrote, "They’re gonna pull Sandra Bullock’s Oscar like Reggie Bush’s Heisman." Read More

Comment: First of, I didn't think Sandra Bullock deserved the Oscar. The movie was mediocre (at best) and her performance was not worthy of Best Actress, especially when you compare who she was up against: Meryl Streep, Carey Mulligan, Helen Mirren, and Gabourey Sidibe who all gave WAAAY better performances than Sandra. Sandra is not a great talent - that's my opinion. She done some cute movies  - and that's the sum of her depth as an actress.

 Anyway, I doubt the Academy will revoke her award. And I doubt Sandra will return it even if Michael wins the lawsuit against the Tuohy's.
