You Be the Judge! Is Jessica Simpson Wrong or No Big Deal?

I want to make sure it is clear that I am not part of the Mommy Mafia. I think some parents try their best most of the time, and there are moments to be judgy, and then there are moments to leave people the hell alone. Will the perfect parent please stand up? *crickets* I didn't think so.

On this issue, I am conflicted. Wearing a crop top at eleven is no big deal. Kids should be able to stay cool in the record breaking heat. Yet, I have a visceral reaction to these photos. I silently chanted, "Don't be an asshole mother," "Don't think of predators." and "Don't be the kind of judgy jerk who thinks they know everything."

Right now, celebrity mothers want to show off their daughters on their social media. They are all doing it. Gwyneth to Reese to Heidi Klum to reality stars to...well, you get my drift. It could be an offshoot of starting them on the nepo train to monetize them and compete with other mother-daughter duos. "All aboard, the undeserving, talent-free offspring of rich and famous parents on track 5!"

Seriously folks, how many of these nepo people should we endure? Why in the world do we know what a Chet Haze is? White Boy Summer threw me into an existential crisis, and I felt my soul leave my body. We could have lived our entire lives without knowing that Tom Hanks has a pulsating boil for an offspring.

The detractors and fans are duking it out, slinging insults and accusations in the comment sections of various tabloids. One commenter will say, "If you think this is sexy, then you are part of the problem," and someone else will post, "It is highly inappropriate." A comment said, "Kids these days don't look their age, so get off yer high horse and stop judging A CHILD!" And then there was a comment that took me aback. They said she reminded them of Jodie Foster's character in Taxi Driver. Oh, mon Dieu! They went there. If you have never seen the film, her character is a child prostitute in halter tops, makeup, platforms, and a sweet little angel face. I will add a photo so you can judge this for real. Jodie was twelve when she played Iris "Easy" Steensma.

Okay, community, this is when I pass it to you. What do you think? Too provocative? Or nah, it is no big deal? If Ariana G was a prostitot, is this better or on the same level? Be judgy hors cause I want to know what you really feel.
