WEEKEND MORNING COFFEE: The Deaner & GF Are Co-Habitating. More Legal Trouble For Alec. Prince Waaagh Drops Libel Case.

Let's take a look at my weekend to-do list: laundry, defrost my freezing ass, and catch up on my trash reading. Since I can defrost my ass while surfing the internet, I found these juicy gems. Have a good weekend!

♦  Our favorite opossum (Govt Name: Dean McDermott) appears to be leaving the roommates he was bunking with when he separated from Tori and is moving in with girlfriend Lily Calo.  The Deaner was seen carrying moving boxes into Lily's residence. The two of them started dating last Fall. As previously posted, their first date was to the Los Angeles welfare office; and from there a romance blossomed. Their second public pap excursion was to the airport. Oh Dean...always the romantic.  No word on when The Deaner and wife, Tori, will actually  divorce. And, no word on why Lily is making such poor life choices.  Read More

Comment: Lily is 32 and The Deaner is 56. Someone needs to have a chat with Lily about making better choices. Getting involved with The Deaner who has no career, no prospects, no money, and 6 kids to support (5 with Tori and 1 with ex-wife Mary Jo) is really stupid. WTF is she thinking?

♦ Prince Waaagh has dropped his libel case against the Daily Mail. The case dealt with the Daily Mail publishing a story about the Prince of Victimhood demanding publicly funded protection after giving the middle finger to the RF when he and Walmart Wallis gave up their duties as a working royals.  Last March, Prince Waaagh was hoping for a summary judgment to win the case without going the trial as a way to kick out the Daily Mail's defense. Well, that didn't work cause the judge didn't buy it.  The withdrawal of the libel case comes on the heels of when Prince Waaagh was to hand over documents related to the case.  According to reports: Read More

"No reason was given, but it came the day he was due to hand over documents in the case and after a punishing ruling last month in which a judge ordered Harry to pay the publisher nearly 50,000 pounds (more than $60,000) in legal fees after he failed to achieve victory without going to trial. The action will leave him on the hook to pay the publisher’s legal fees, which the Daily Mail reported to be 250,000 pounds ($316,000). A spokesperson for the duke said it was premature to speculate about costs."

Comment: Well, that explains why he dropped the libel case. Those documents must contain something that he does not want to be publicly known. My guess - his crayon notes for a second book. Or...probably thought it wasn't worth taking the risk to go to trial as if he lost, he'd be on the hook for millions to the Daily Mail.  So, cut your loses Prince Waaagh, pay the almost $400,000 in fees, and go play with Ellen's chicken.

♦  Alec Baldwin is in trouble with a capital T.  A grand jury in New Mexico indicted him on an involuntary manslaughter charge in the 2021 fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the movie set of "Rust".  According to a report by HuffPost: Read More

"Special prosecutors dismissed an involuntary manslaughter charge against Baldwin in April, saying they were informed the gun might have been modified before the shooting and malfunctioned. They later pivoted and began weighing whether to refile a charge against Baldwin after receiving a new analysis of the gun. The (new) analysis led by Lucien Haag of Forensic Science Services in Arizona stated that although Baldwin repeatedly denied pulling the trigger, “given the tests, findings and observations reported here, the trigger had to be pulled or depressed sufficiently to release the fully cocked or retracted hammer of the evidence revolver.”

Comment: Somewhere in the Baldwin house, Hilary (not gonna refer to her as Hilaria) is yelling in her best faux Spanish accent, "How do you say YOU'RE SCREWED".  Alec has been saying all along that he pulled the hammer but not the trigger. The new analysis and findings say otherwise, which is why he was indicted by a grand jury.  On a different but related topic...I guess now we know why Alec slashed the asking price of his beach McMansion in the Hamptons and is desperate to sell it: he needs the money. He's looking at a shitload of legal fees + whatever lawsuits are coming.
