OPEN POST: Happy V.D. With Benito The Bearded Dragon!

Everyone is a bit of a perv at Peckerwood Manor - you're not allowed inside otherwise! - but none more so than Benito The Bearded Dragon, and not just on Valentine's Day. Why, whenever the laundry room dryer is on the heavy duty cycle, you can bet that Benito's riding atop it. If you're missing your phone and it's on vibrate, you know where to find it. And that jiggly-hot AC compressor outside? A favorite spot for our debauched little dragon. In other words, Benito is all of us, we are all Benito; on Valentine's Day, and every day. 

Meanwhile, cook is making Stuffed Pork Tenderloins with Bacon and Apple-Riesling Sauce, and a side Salade Lyonnaise for this holiday's luncheon. Do reserve your table - for either yourself and your companion, or yourself and Benito - because we're nearly full.

Ever since I watched "Edward Scissorhands" as a kid I have been curious about Ambrosia salad. It seems so weird, but also looks like it would be delicious. I mean, what's not to love?
