Who is January's Shitbag of the Month?

Welcome, Peckers, to our first Shitbag of the Month poll for 2024. It seems like only yesterday we were placing the shit crown on Vanky's head. Here are this month's contenders.

First up is Alyssa Milano. The 51-year old actress has been getting shit for sharing a GoFundMe page for her son's baseball trip. Fans are have been quick to point out that Milano, who has a reported net worth of 10 million dollars, should surely be able to fund the $10,000 being requested for the trip. Milano made a follow-up post claiming that she has paid for the team's uniforms, thrown birthday parties, and covered dues of kids who couldn't afford it. She also slammed fans who took to her son's personal instagram and left comments there about his mother's tone-deaf post. Milano is not the first celebrity to be chided for posting GoFundMe requests: others including Kylie Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Megan Fox. When will these people learn?!

Our next candidate is the gaggle of butthurt Barbie fans who lost their minds over Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie being "snubbed" by the Oscars. The film is up for Best Picture, and Ryan Gosling is up for Best Supporting Actor in his role as Ken, so fans feel that Gosling's nomination especially proves the message of the movie itself. The Associated Press called the snub "one of the greatest shocks in recent memory" and fans expressed their outrage online as well. Hillary Clinton even commented on this mess with a cringe tweet directed at Gerwig and Robbie, ending with #hillarybarbie. The whole spectacle sparked conversation about white feminism, as it was pointed out that Lily Gladstone is the first US-born Native American Oscar Nominee for her role in Killers of the Flower Moon and the whole Barbie snub has overshadowed such a historic moment. Do you think all this outrage is justified, or is it a case of terminally online people looking for something to be mad about?

Third is Nicki Minaj. Whew, boy. Minaj is really kicking off 2024 with a bang. And by "bang" I mean coke-fuelled multi-day rant about Megan Thee Stallion. Minaj has openly supported Tory Lanez, who was convicted for shooting Megan in the foot back in 2020. Megan recently released a single called "HISS," where she had the lyrics "These hoes don't be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan's Law." Megan's Law requires law enforcement to make information available about sex offenders. Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, is a registered sex offender who was found guilty of attempted rape of a 16-year old girl n 1995. Petty has also served time in prison for first-degree manslaughter in 2002. What a catch!

Not to mention, Nicki's brother is also a convicted pedophile. She has vehemently defended both her brother and her husband, so naturally Megan's lyric sparked an instant reaction with the washed-up rapper. She went on Live raging about Megan, and also did an interview with Joe Budden where she claimed Megan was milking the Lanez shooting, claiming she "wanted a Rihanna moment so bad." Yeah. Minaj's fans also released the cemetery location of Megan's late mother. What a classy group of individuals. Minaj released a single called Big Foot in retaliation to HISS, but I personally have not listened and will not be giving that trash any views.

Next up are TI and Tiny. The couple found themselves in hot water this week as an anonymous lawsuit was filed against them by an air force veteran who is alleging they drugged and raped her in their hotel room in 2005. The couple is accused of sexual battery, battery, sexual assault, negligence, false imprisonment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. This is not TI and Tiny's first lawsuit either: in 2021, they were accused sexual assault by two separate women. An attorney in that case claimed that over 30 women had contacted him accusing the couple of forced drugging, kidnapping, rape and intimidation, with these incidents spanning over 15 years.

Our last candidate is the US Federal Highway Administration. This January, they released an 1,100 page manual outlining how signs and other traffic control devices are regulated. The manual strongly discourages overhead electronic signs with obscure meanings, references to pop culture, or otherwise intended to be funny. What a wet blanket!
