► Canadian chanteuse Celine Dion sat down for an interview with Vogue France which include a fashion shoot. In the interview, she discussed living with stiff person syndrome and that she remains hopeful for a cure. She also made a point of saying that she, "does not accept freebies" when it comes to fashion. Oooh, you go Celine!  I like the way she threw shade at celebs who shamelessly do this. Comment: Below photos from the shoot. My favorite is the all-brown power suit which makes her look like she's ready to take names, kick some ass, and fire an entire staff for not having her mocha latte at the precise temperature. Celine is looking really good in these photos. No snark. Okay...maybe a little: the pink monstrosity looks like a toilet paper koozie that belongs in grandma's bathroom.

► The official trailer for The Joker: Folie a Deaux was dropped today. Personally, I would change the title to "The Joker: La Cage aux Folles". I get the feeling this movie is going to be the DC Universe version of "A Star Is Born".  The plot is about, "two mad people in love". Um, okay, whatever. Not very original as far as a plot goes. The movie premiers October 4; and I'm sure on October 5th, Lady Gaga will kick-off her campaign to get an Oscar nod for  it.  Read More

Comment:  In the trailer, Joaquin does a decent job as the Joker - actually, he looks like he needs to eat a cheeseburger - he's too thin.  Lady Gaga...sheesh. She's not a convincing Harley Quinn. My dog dressed up as Harley Quinn for Halloween would be more believable. If the movie only featured Joaquin, I might be interested because I do like his acting. But Lady Gaga..big nope for me.


► Princess Kate shared an unedited, unfiltered photo of Prince Louis to celebrate his 6th birthday. The RF made sure the media knew this since they gave her such a shitty time back in March over her photoshop fail.  Anyhoo, hard to believe he's 6 years old. The photo was taken by him mom at their yard at home. Louis is showing a toothy smile like he's posing for an ad for Gap Kids. Read More

Comment:  Happy birthday Louis! I like Prince Willie and Princess Kate's spawns. They're cute kids and they seem to be raised in a "normal" upbringing or as normal as they can be given the RF.  I have a feeling that when Louis becomes a teenager he will go one of two routes: 1) typical RF and play polo; or 2) show up one day with a pierced ear, mullet, and a vintage t-shirt that says "Sex Pistols 1972 Tour".

Sundays are fundays, right? And yet sometimes a powder keg explodes.  On October 20th, 1963, Charles Schulz published the strip above in Sunday papers worldwide, creating a now infamous controversy. It's one of my favorite Peanuts strips. But in 1963, it was no joke, since the issue of prayer in school was again rearing its ugly head in America, a perennial battle between the so-called "faithful" and those seeking to maintain the separation of church and State. The strip is very much open to interpretation, deliciously so, and though Schulz was a devoted churchgoer through at least middle-age, he was on record as opposing prayer in schools and acknowledged the importance of respecting different beliefs. Much later in life, he modified his personal faith and described himself as a "secular humanist."  The firestorm generated by the Sunday strip caused Evangelicals to claim it for themselves.
