I can't stand it when someone wants to rehash something 1000 times. Either accept what I said or have an issue with it and deal with it. I meant it. I own it. I have no regrets. Rarely do I regret crossing swords with someone when I am cool-headed and deliberate. When I lash out, I sometimes wish I had worded something differently. This person wants to talk more. I don't. And I won't.

For many of us around here, it's hotter than Satan's taint in a wool jockstrap - and with that, we tend to prefer fare on the lighter side when it's time to stuff our empty maws. So Peckerdears, what are some of your favorite summer dishes that get the job done without giving you the meat sweats? I'll go first! In 1982, I was a poor, yet simple, boy of 8 or 9, and I watched everything. We had 3 networks and 2 PBS stations, as well as 2 local stations that showed bowling, farm reports and some sort of stupid puppet show - as well as a really awesome show on Saturday nights that had old black-and-white, scary (but not really scary) movies. "Fantasies" was not among those, though it was a major, prime-time network movie, and it concerned the stars of "a very sexy soap opera" being murdered by a psycho stalker killer, the hook being that it starred ACTUAL SOAP OPERA STARS (!), the main one being the delightful Miss Robin Mattson from "General Hospital" and that dude from "All My Children" who's most famous for the commercial in which he muttered those immortal words, "I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV."
