PECKERWOOD'S WEEKLY LUNOCRACY POST! For the Week Of 11/25/24!

"Let's escape to Canada-land!" exclaim many Blue voters disillusioned by the last general election. But beware. Stupido Bros™, like Joe Rogan, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly, et al, are flourishing in snowy Transatlantica, too. Case in point, Jordan Peterson, Canada's premiere Stupido Bro™ who has a new book out, "We Who Wrestle With God." At a book signing in Manhattan on November 18th, he was swarmed with American Bro Fans, since he perfectly aligns with their Christo-fascist Trump ethos.

The Economist writes of him and his book: "He has been called both 'the world’s most famous public intellectual' and 'the stupid man’s smart person.' In (his book), he retells the big hits of the Bible—the fall, the flood—through a mixture of theology, psychology and symbolism. Often, alas, that symbolism comes from Disney. An entire Peterson industry has flourished for those willing to sacrifice their money. Moreover, people who spend time writing about themselves, the book promises, 'become happier, less anxious and depressed.' Who knew? Certainly not Ernest Hemingway or Virginia Wolf..."

Still think you can escape Trump-like fascism by moving to Canada? How about England? Oh, wait. Or maybe Italy, France or anywhere in Europe. Oh, wait. But surely Iceland, Sweden and Norway and Denmark are safe. Oh, wait. Hey, what about New Zealand? Oh, wait. Okay, in fairness, the Kiwi fascist movement is in its embryonic stage, but, hey, it's not where you start it's where you finish, right? In other words, there is no escape. Fascism 2.0 is on the rise everywhere. Which means what?

It means, dear Peckers, that we should all stay in our respective countries and fight however we can against our own homegrown Stupido Bros™ and their Christo-fascist ways. "You can run, but you can't hide," a saying originally coined by phenom Black boxer, Joe Lewis, at the height of Jim Crow laws and their enforcement, seems especially apt at this stage.

And now, Palette Cleansing Puddytats:
