EVENING NIGHTCAP: Justin's Lame Lyme Excuse. Kim C Reacts To AJLT Cancellation.

►Ever since kicking off his Forget Tomorrow world tour to support his shitty album "Everything I Thought It Was", Justina Timberlake has been dragged by fans for faxing in his performance. Not even phoning it it like JLo at least does. Many fans claim he sang less than 25% of the time and instead had the audience sing while he was walking around the stage in the same manner I do when I'm visiting a garage sale. Fans became so fed up with Justin they started parodying him on Tik Tok. BTW, some of the skits are hilarious. Link to see them.  Justin also cancelled numerous tour dates and didn't rescheduled. He blamed laryngitis, bronchitis, or a back injury for those last minute cancellations. I think he threw a dart at a board and that was the excuse used. Fast forward to today: Justin shared he was recently diagnosed with Lyme disease and that was the culprit for his poor showmanship during his tour. Comment:   I'm personally suspect of his excuse. Justin's reputation has taken a HUGE hit this past year. From a DUI arrest, to getting his comeuppance for how he treated Britney Spears and Janet Jackson, to his shitty new album not selling, and disappointing ticket sales to his concerts. I think his Lyme disease ailment is a way to earn sympathy points and save face. The gif below express my thoughts about his claim.

 

► By now you probably heard that My Little Pony's show, And Just Like That, has been cancelled. Fans of SATC hated the show since it didn't have Kim Catrall. Critics blasted AJLT for everything you can think of, from the garbage fashion, it's writing, awful acting, to sophomoric story lines that were as riveting as a stream of piss. Kim Catrall shared her reaction to it with an image of a sunset and the cryptic words of "it's been a very long week".  Fans of the actress applauded her comment. Read More

Comment:  AJLT was a disaster in the making. It proved several things: 1) SJP cannot carry a show; 2) Kim Catrall was the REAL start of SATC; and 3) Seeing actors in their 60's portraying characters who are stuck in a time warp of 1998 was an embarrassment.  You know who should have their own show? Joanne the Scammer. Now that I would watch.

In about 1820-something, the first European immigrants to settle hereabouts (fuckin' Krauts, just like me) built a mill, and it made them very wealthy. They were generous and decent people over the years (their former home is now a museum) and "The Old Mill" (even though it was disused the last few decades) stood tall. People loved it. It was one of those places that made everyone nostalgic, even as weatherbeaten and decrepit as it must have looked by the 1950s. But then it burned down one night, and as much as I've looked online, I've never found a picture of it. But clues remain. After it burned down, they left the cogs and gears where they fell, possibly out of respect for the old structure (but more likely because they probably weigh about 6 tons; they're so heavy they've sunk to slightly below ground level), but either way I like it.
