John Lewis marched and bled so The Voting Rights Act could become law. Hundreds more died. But John Roberts and his largely racist, Republican Supreme Court have destroyed Lewis' legacy - and demolished The Voting Rights Act.   American democracy may never recover. This is not hyperbole. Years ago, when Roberts was about to be appointed to the Supreme Court, Lewis warned us:  "Under Roberts, I feel that the leadership of the Court will promote politics over the protection of individual rights and liberties. Roberts may be a brilliant lawyer, but I wonder whether he can really understand the depth of what it took to get the Voting Rights Act passed. The right to vote is precious, almost sacred. OPEN POST: Dominic Sessa as Anthony Bourdain

Credit: A24/EW This August, A24 will be releasing their biopic on Anthony Bourdain. Tony , which is directed by Matt Johnson, and is expected to focus on Bourdain's early culinary experiences in 1976 during his time in Provincetown, Mass.  Dominic Sessa, who rose to fame after his breakout role in The Holdovers,  will play young Bourdain. Other stars on the cast include Antonio Banderas, Emilia Jones and Rich Sommer. This kind of biopic seems like something Bourdain would probably not approve of. But you can't tell that to Hollywood!
