According to BBC News, local residents in Torquay, England are simply baffled. Why does their “Daddyhole Road” sign keep getting stolen? In Old Devon-speak, "Daddyhole" refers to the devil, claim townsfolk, who once lived in a hole in the ground (or something like that). 

But really, that was long ago, and "Daddyhole Road" now conjures up notions of burly-type fellows bent over roadside with their bootys bared and their sphincters coyly winking. Or so I assume, because I'm a good Christian woman, as they say, and know nothing of such filth and merriment. 

Not to be outdone, the UK town of Shepshed has clapped back with:

OPEN POST: What Was Your Favourite Cereal?

I was just thinking about the last time I bought a box of cereal. It's been years! I remember constantly begging my parents for Froot Loops or Corn Pops as a kid, and sometimes they would acquiesce. It was such a treat to crack open a brand new box, especially if there was a toy inside! What was your favourite childhood cereal, Peckers?
