Who is June's Shitbag of the Month?

Our first Shitbag contender for June is Jimmy Fallon. The ever-giggling Tonight Show host caught flak this month when he chose to interview Conor McGregor. If you recall, McGregor scored the November 2024 Shitbag title after he was found liable of rape in Irish civil court. Despite not facing criminal charges, McGregor was ordered to pay damages to his victim. McGregor has been doing press rounds to promote his upcoming UFC return in July (Spoiler alert: his knee gave out 69 SECONDS into the match!) which is why he was booked for the Tonight Show. Fallon faced major backlash for choosing to have McGregor on his show, but the host has remained silent on the topic.

Next up is Gwyneth Paltrow. The 53-year old actor and vagina candle mogul faced backlash when she appeared in an advertisement for a luxury highrise development in Israel. In the ad, Paltrow narrates a morning routine and praises the appeal of park-side buildings. When her driver asks if she's referring to New York, she responds, "Herzliya, Israel." Paltrow received swift criticism for her involvement in the ad, with detractors giving her the amazing nickname "Gwynocide." However, some celebrities publicly supported her amidst the criticism: Selma Blair commented on an IG post about the incident, "Love her even more." Paltrow has remained silent on the issue.

Third up is A$AP Rocky. Rihanna's long-term partner and father of her three children made headlines this month while performing on his ironically-named "Don't be Dumb" tour. In the middle of a song, the rapper paused to speak directly to a fan, saying "you fine as fuck. You and your friend fine as fuck." He also said, "thank god y'all didn't know me when I was single, 'cause I would've fucked the shit out of you if you was pretty." Rocky, who welcome his third child with Rihanna less than a year ago, was accused of being disrespectful to his partner by making these comments. What do you think, Peckers? Was it just harmless fun?

Fourth up is Kylie Jenner. The influencer is now facing her third workplace-related lawsuit in two months. A former private chef of Jenner's has sued her for discrimination, harassment, emotional distress, wrongful termination, retaliation and failure to pay proper wages. Whew! The plaintiff alleges that her job was so high-stress it led to her having a miscarriage. She alleged worked 11-12 hour shifts five days a week and was assigned physically demanding tasks despite informing her supervisors of her high-risk pregnancy. After suffering from the miscarriage, the chef naturally experienced distress and depression. She was then informed by her supervisors that she was "upsetting Kylie and making her depressed." WOW. The previous two lawsuits filed against Jenner have been from former housekeeping staff who have alleged experiencing workplace discrimination, harassment, failure to pay wages and more.

Our last contenders are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Their crime: being really fucking annoying! It seems like there have been endless headlines about the pair's nuptials throughout the whole month of June. Rumours began to spread that the two were going to have their ceremony at Madison Square Garden, and then there was endless speculation about who would be invited and who would be snubbed (spoiler alert: her former bestie, Blake Lively, didn't make the cut)! These two fame-thirsty hors are a match made in headline heaven. Good luck to them in their marriage!
