Yeah, yeah, I know it's a Wednesday and there's school tomorrow, but the sun's shining and the waves are curlin', so let's give it a shot! Admittedly, I've never surfed but I have roller-skated and it's the same principle, right? And really, how hard can it be? They do it every week on the top-rated tv show "Hawaii Five-O."


So let's hop in your new '69 Fairlane (at least that's what I think it is) and soak up some rays on the beach and talk about whatever we feel like--after all, it's Open Post, darlings!

I awoke to the news that Vancouver has evicted crooked little techbro mayor Ken Sim, and my old friend Sean Orr has received more votes than any council member in history! Both very well-deserved. Nothing like starting your day with good news.  In other news, my life is currently nothing but boxes and bags and donations and empty closets and drawers. So for today's Sunday Roast we are featuring the unglamorous but indispensable cardboard box! Where would we be without them?
