A two-year-old girl in Michigan's Upper Peninsula wandered away from her home with two family dogs and was later found sleeping in the woods, using one of the dogs, a cocker spaniel, as a pillow. The other dog, a Rottweiler, stayed close by, keeping her safe. Lt. Mark Giannunzio shared this heartwarming story on Thursday. Michigan State Police's Iron Mountain post was called to a home in the Faithorn area of Menominee County around 8 p.m. last Wednesday after the girl went missing. Troopers used drones and police dogs to search for her, while local police and citizens from Michigan and neighboring Wisconsin also joined the search effort in the remote wooded area. Around midnight, a citizen on an ATV found the girl approximately three miles (4.8 km) from her home. Lt.
