Welcome to the weekend, hookers! We're going to start things off right by slipping on our sexiest space attire in an effort to entice all those intergalactical studs looking for a good time! After all, it's Invite An Alien To Live With You Day, and we are nothing if not an inclusive bunch of floozies.



Invite An Alien To Live With You Day was founded in an effort to remember the four-year-long sitcom Mork & Mindy starring Robin Williams and Pam Dawber. And let me tell you, little Sebastian LOVED Mork & Mindy. Originally appearing on Happy Days clearly after Fonzie jumped the shark, the character of Mork (played by Robin Williams) was an alien from the planet Ork who arrived on earth in an egg-shaped spacecraft. He quickly shacked up with Mindy (played by Pam Dawber) of Boulder, CO, and late 70s/early 80s cheese ball hilarity ensued. Na-nu, na-nu, bitches!

Is Sunday a day of rest for you? How do you lazy? During the summer, me and the hubs sometimes pop gummies and float in the pool or meet friends for brunch. In the winter, brunch is still on, and since it doesn't get too cold here, we'll go for hikes or meet friends for afternoon-to-evening cocktails. Or occasionally, no matter the season, I just refuse to get up and cuddle with Elder Cat. This is pure bliss, I assure you.  I know some people use Sunday to work out at the gym, run errands and clean like demons, but really, that's what Saturday is for. Happy Friday the 13th, superstitious hors! Here at the Manor, we don't consider it an unlucky day. Instead, we use it as an excuse to celebrate black cats, snake eyes, and various other forms of magic bitchery! OPEN POST: Start Your Week With Cher! Hoooooooooo!

It's Monday, which is harsh enough. But everything's better with one simple ingredient: Cher. See? Just reading that made you feel good.  Did you know? She was almost cast in "Thelma & Louise." No, for reals.  Before Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis were cast, she was offered one of the lead roles, but turned it down. Why? We don't know. Cher will be Cher. She also turned down the Sarah Connor role in "The Terminator." Can you imagine Cher opposite Ah-nold? Yeah, that's a "no" for me, dawg.
