WHAT COULD GO WRONG? Willkommen, Kayne West! Elon Musk Reinstates His Twitter/X Account!

Hooray! Li'l Nazi X Kanye West recently had his account reinstated by Elon Musk on the platform formally known as Twitter (don't call it "X" yet, because Microsoft owns the trademark to "X") (next up, none of us will be able to form complete words because various letters of the alphabet will be  copyrighted) (I'   t  iddi g).

Last we heard from this "misunderstood artist," he tweeted a picture of a swastika inside the Star of David. And before that, "defcon 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE," and, oh, yes, "White Lives Matter," which he emblazoned on one of his t-shirts. And - wait - he also appeared on the Alex Jones podcast and exclaimed, "I like Hitler!" Such a renegade, our Ye. But it was that kind of bold behavior which got him dumped shortly thereafter by Balenciaga, his  Hollywood agency CAA, then Adidas, leaving the later stuck with a reported 1.2 billion in unsold "Yeezy" shoes. Unfair? Not at all, because it gave us this priceless moment of Kanye being turned away from Skechers headquarters when he showed up uninvited to cut a new shoe deal. 


And in the rain. And in Madonna's old grill (aren't grills 2000-late at this point?). Luckily, Kanye has a friend in Elon Musk, who now owns the Twitter/X platform and previously reinstated their pal, Donald Trump (though Trump has yet to abandon Truth Social). Why? Because Musk, like Kuntye and Trump, believe in fReE sPeEcH - except, of course, when it's embarrassing, as when Musk kicked Jack Sweeney off of Twitter because his account, @elonmusksjet, tracked Elon's wasteful, polluting jet setting ways in real time. 

But wait! Sweeney now has a new @elonmusksjet account on Instagram, run by Musk's competitor, Mark Zuckerberg. But wait again! As of this writing, Zuckerberg suspended, reinstated, then again suspended @elonmusksjet on his competing Twitter platform, Threads (it's back up again!). Why? Because Sweeney has hinted that @markzuckerbergsjet might be next. Gosh, Kanye and his pals sure are touchy, aren't they? 

Speaking of Kanye, he hasn't posted anything new yet on his reinstated Twitter/X account, but it's only a matter of time, and honestly, I can't wait, especially if we get more jewels like this.

OPEN POST: Rejoice! Peckerwood Manor Is One Year Old Today!

Ah hahahahahaha! Or hooray, hurrah, two snaps and a hey! Can you believe Peckerwood Manor is one year old today? We're still here , dammit, and still kickin'.  And here you are, horing and roaring right along with us.  Below, each of us joyously reflect on this, our very first Cake Day. And, yes, we come to you in alphabetical order. Why? Because we learned how to do it in preschool and we're still that cute. § AK (aka ECCE HOMO) :  Ends and beginnings! We were all shocked by the news of DListed's shuttering, but as sad as it was, I was even sadder to think I'd never again hear from everyone I'd come to know in the comments. OPEN POST: Peckerwood Field Trip - Finnish Hobby Horse Championships!

Welcome to the whimsical world of Finnish hobby horse racing, where madcap enthusiasts prance around with stick-mounted felt horse heads, leaping over obstacles and performing serious dressage routines without falling over, laughing wildly at their own antics. What started as an eccentric pastime has evolved into a serious sport with international recognition. Okay, international might be strong, but it has a following in Scandi countries and my sometimes beloved UK. But let's not kid ourselves, Peckers—it's also a riotously comical spectacle that has captured the interest of niche of equestrian lovers who are too broke to afford a horse, I mean, serious athletes with a love for wood between...like you people. This is why we are taking a field trip to Finland to watch a competition.
