Ouch! Lizzo Snaps Back!

Take a deep breath. Lizzo allegedly "intends" to sue the dancers suing her after previously settling with another group of dancers who sued her. Got that? According to her esteemed lawyer, Marty Singer - who's defended many upstanding citizens, such as Bryan Singer and Bill Cosby - Lizzo has "damning" photos of the dancers who're currently suing her, which feature all of them at an Amsterdam strip club where they claim Lizzo sexually harassed them - and get this, the dancers are smiling. Obviously this means that they truly enjoyed being ordered to touch a nude dancer and eat a banana out of her vagina, right? Or maybe their smiles were of the oh-God-don't-piss-off-the-boss variety. Gosh, who can say? Though, really, the dancers say "tomato," and Lizzo's lawyer says not "toma-toe," but "I'm a wee bit reachy and desperate." But wait, it gets better.

The Los Angeles Times just broke the story that Lizzo previously settled a lawsuit against another group of dancers who sued her for both "exploiting" them, and for using "unauthorized" and "intimate" footage of them for Lizzo's HBO documentary, "Love Lizzo" (note that the title is "Love Lizzo," not "Love, Lizzo") (if you get my drift) (but I digress). And what does Marty Singer have to say about this? He's brushing it aside, because the dancers presently suing are obvi making a dastardly cash grab since they continued working for Lizzo on the tour - and after the Amsterdam strip club incident. Because Marty has apparently never heard of "I need this job to make the rent so I won't rock the boat for fear of getting fired mid-tour."

But, hey, that's a "bogus" argument, according to Marty, who says that in addition to photos of the happy dancers, he has video of them praising Lizzo. Because nothing says, "I'm praising Lizzo for the tour's electronic press kit because it's part of my job" like praising Lizzo for the tour's electronic press kit because its part of your job. Regardless, Lizzo allegedly intends to sue the dancers for "malicious prosecution" after she wins the lawsuit filed against her.

I suppose this means that the dancers' attorney is free to use Lizzo's previous pictures and statements, including this doozy: "I'm trying to go to the show where you eat the banana outta the pussy! That's what I wanna do. I need my potassium, if you know what I mean." Oh, and for good measure: "There is nothing I take more seriously than the respect we deserve as women!"
