Is Bryan Fuller, Creator Of TV's "Hannibal," Going Down The #MeToo Drain?

Image
Remember Josh Whedon, creator of TV's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and a purported male paragon of feminism? And, oh, yes, he was later known for being viciously misogynist and fat-phobic to the women who worked for him - particularly terrified young actresses - and for creating a hostile work environment. Remember now? You know, that fucktard. Though this briefly stalled Whedon's career, it's far from over, 'cause really, what's a li'l misogyny on set when there's mooolah to be made? Could the same, briefly inconvenient fate be in store for Bryan Fuller? Fuller, as you may know, has worked variously as a writer, executive producer and showrunner for TV shows such as "Pushing Daisies," “Hannibal," "American Gods," and many more. Fanboys love his work. They've even coined the term, "Fullerverse," to denote all the shows he's worked on (because that's what fanboys do).  Unfortunately, #MeToo has reared it&

Ouch! Lizzo Snaps Back!

Take a deep breath. Lizzo allegedly "intends" to sue the dancers suing her after previously settling with another group of dancers who sued her. Got that? According to her esteemed lawyer, Marty Singer - who's defended many upstanding citizens, such as Bryan Singer and Bill Cosby - Lizzo has "damning" photos of the dancers who're currently suing her, which feature all of them at an Amsterdam strip club where they claim Lizzo sexually harassed them - and get this, the dancers are smiling. Obviously this means that they truly enjoyed being ordered to touch a nude dancer and eat a banana out of her vagina, right? Or maybe their smiles were of the oh-God-don't-piss-off-the-boss variety. Gosh, who can say? Though, really, the dancers say "tomato," and Lizzo's lawyer says not "toma-toe," but "I'm a wee bit reachy and desperate." But wait, it gets better. The Los Angeles Times just broke the story that Lizzo previously set

Six More Alleged Victims Come Out Against Lizzo, But Will Hollywood Stars Stick By Her Side?

Image
When it rains it pours. Where there's smoke there's fire. Pick your cliche. But six more alleged victims - and perhaps more - have stepped forward, all of them making the exact same claims made just one week ago by the dancers who sued Lizzo for sexual harassment, fat shaming and creating a hostile work environment.  Also just one week ago? Stars as varied as Li'l Nas X, Jamie Lynn Spears, Kelly Osborne, Jennifer Garner, Jameela Jamil and drag performer Kahanna Montrese expressed their unwavering support for Lizzo, the latter exclaiming on Twitter, "Lizzo created one of the most uplifting shows I've ever been a part of. Please don't let this define you, Lizzo!" But has it already? Will it be so easy to forget the charge that Lizzo purportedly ordered her dancers to eat a banana protruding from a stripper's vagina? Or reportedly forbad the dancers from taking bathroom breaks during a torturous, hours-long "re-audition?" And will it be so easy

Today in "It Seems Like Everyone's A Sleazy Fuckin'  Ho," Lizzo, the feel-good flute-player and pop songstress - along with her tour manager, Shirlene Quigley - has been sued in Los Angeles Superior Court for "sexual harassment," "fat shaming" "religious and racial harassment" and "false imprisonment" by several of her tour dancers and staffers. The details, according to NBC News, aren't pretty, and include charges that dancers and staffers who did not attend the tour's after-parties, which weren't mandatory, experienced far less job security, and in some cases, were publicly fired.  Wait, it gets worse, At these parties, many held at strip clubs,  Lizzo allegedly “began inviting cast members to take turns touching nude performers...ordered them to catch dildos launched from the performers’ vaginas...and eat bananas protruding from the performers’ vaginas,” the suit says. “Lizzo (also) began pressuring them to fond
