Who is September's Shitbag of the Month?

Our first contender of the month is Dave Grohl. The Foo Fighters frontman, and "nice guy" of rock shocked the world when he made a post on instagram this month announcing that he was now the father of baby "born outside of his marriage." Grohl has been married to his wife, Robyn Blum, for over 20 years and the two share three daughters aged 18, 15 and 10. Despite Grohl's nice guy persona, there have been rampant rumours of his infidelity for years. In fact, his first marriage to Jennifer Youngblood ended in 1997 due to him cheating. It is alleged that Grohl contacted a divorce lawyer prior to sharing his announcement, and it's also been alleged that he accused his wife of having a "flirty" relationship with her tennis coach. How bold!

Next up is presidential dropout and brain worm host Robert F Kennedy, Jr. RFK drew criticism at the end of August when an old interview his daughter did resurfaced whereby she claims her father used a chainsaw to cut the head off a washed-up whale carcass and drove home with it strapped to the roof of his car. He also admitted to dumping a dead bear cub in Central Park, hoping to make it look like the animal was killed by a cyclist. Uhh, okay. Now Kennedy is under fire for allegedly carrying out an affair with New York Magazine correspondent Olivia Nuzzi. The magazine placed the 31-year old reporter on leave after it was determined she had "engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a reporting subject." Nuzzi had done a profile on Kennedy last November, and it is alleged that she had sent him nude photos. RFK Jr. has been married to Cheryl Hines for ten years. Nuzzi and Kennedy deny having had a physical relationship.

Our third contender is no stranger to the Shitbag lineup. None other than Sean Combs, aka. P. Diddy. It's no secret that the Diddler has been practicing the dark arts for some time, and finally he got arrested this month with charges of sex trafficking, pimping and racketeering. His home was raided by the FBI and they discovered over 1,000 bottles of baby oil allegedly for use in his "freak-off" parties. Yikes. He was denied bail but is allegedly assembling a legal "dream team" while attempting a bail request for the third time. There has been a hotline set up for victims to come forward. It's only a matter of time before we learn more about who was involved in his sinister practices and I am sure we will have some Shitbag contenders as a result.

Fourth up our list is Janet Jackson. The soft spoken singer received backlash this month for comments she made about Kamala Harris in an interview with the Guardian. "She's not Black. That's what I heard. That she's Indian," Jackson said in response to reporter Nosheen Iqbal's remark about America potentially voting in its first Black female president. She doubled down on her statement, saying "her father's white. That's what I was told." Harris is both Black and Indian. Fans were rightfully disappointed that Jackson didn't do any research before making these claims, arguing that she is helping spread misinformation and should be better informed as a public figure who is being asked for her comment on this pivotal election.

Our last candidate is Naomi Campbell. The notorious phone flinger was banned from being a charity trustee for five years this month. Why? Because her charity, Fashion for Relief, was discovered to have spent tens of thousands of pounds raised on luxury hotel rooms, spa treatments and cigarettes for Campbell while passing very little of their funds raised on to partner charities in the form of grants. Over a five year period since 2016, the charity raised over £4.8m through fashion shows, only £389,000 of which reached the intended beneficiaries. I can't say this is surprising, as Naomi Campbell is known for being a complete asshole, but stealing from your own charity really is low.
