► Burt the saltwater crocodile who, in my opinion was the REAL star of the 1986 movie Crocodile Dundee, has passed away at the age of 90. That is a long ass time for anything to live, let alone a crocodile. After he shot into movie fame, Burt pursued a career as Ambassador For Crocodile Education at Croconaurus Cove. Comment:  Burt lived a long and fulfilling life. He didn't take crap for anyone. When working, he was the consummate professional.  I still remember the scene in Crocodile Dundee when he came out of the water like Venus appearing in a Botticelli painting. BTW, the clip is below. He appears at the 2:44 mark.  That's authentic method acting! RIP Burt.

► Ever since Blake filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Dept against the dingus known as Justin Baldoni, her co-star and director in "It Ends With Us", the PR machine for Blake and Ryan has been on overdrive. In the complaint, Blake claims that Justin was on a crusade to ruin her reputation. As expected, Justin is denying it. To turn the court of public opinion in her favor, Blake is rounding up co-stars from past and present to show the world that she's not the tone deaf, entitled, mean girl that Justin and the world thinks she is. Then, we have Ryan's PR machine, who has been busy like elves in Santa's workshop sharing the news that he will be a recipient of the Order of Canada. This is one of the highest awards the Canadian government can bestow to a civilian.  BTW, his comment below is what I'd expect from him. He seems to think he has to be in Deadpool character 24/7. Comment: IMO, Blake needs to take some responsibility for her tarnished reputation. From having an antebellum wedding at a plantation, to mocking Princess Catherine when she was MIA due to a cancer diagnosis, to being tone deaf in interviews and expressing bewildering comments. Case in point: promoting It Ends With Us, which is a movie about domestic violence, like she was on a Barbie press tour. The latest gaffe by her husband, Ryan, didn't help. He claimed she came from a working class family when in fact, she grew up wealthy and privileged from a family of Hollywood executives. This comment resulted in a social media wrath against Ryan. Anyway, who knows what happened between Blake and Justin. I would advise her and Ryan to take some time off, reflect on their past behavior, and realize that being humble is not a character flaw but a strength.
