Who is October's Shitbag of the Month?

First up is Katy Perry. While she's had an eventful month out on the town with Justin Trudeau, she caught some flak for her behaviour at her birthday party as well. Perry celebrated her 41st birthday while on her "Lifetimes" tour, and her crew presented her with a large sheet cake decked out with candles for the occasion. After blowing out the candles, the singer then picked up the cake and launched it a crew member. It missed, and landed on the floor. Her crew laughed it off and some even ate pieces of it off the floor. However, more sensitive X users shamed Perry for being so wasteful and disrespectful to her team.

Our second Shitbag is Kim Kardashian. While the washed-up socialite manages to piss people off monthly for one reason or another, this month she was criticized for providing Israeli orphans with a shopping spree at SKIMS. The Israel-Palestine conflict is naturally a hot button issue for people, and Kim seemingly giving support to IDF orphans is not a good look. In addition to this, it was recently announced that 15 SKIMS stores will be opening in Israel. Anything for attention, good or bad, right Kim?

Our third turd is Julia Fox. Huh, two of Kanye's exes in one Shitbag post, what are the chances? Just like Kim, Julia Fox is no stranger to controversial stunts for the sake of getting attention. This month, she dressed up in a Jackie Kennedy costume, complete with fake blood meant to be that of the late JFK's on the day he was assassinated. When asked about the costume, she claimed she was dressed as "Jackie-o-Nasty, a single mom who's about to cash that check!" After seeing backlash online, she burped out some chat-GPT caption about the costume being a statement about feminism or whatever. Sure, Julia.

Fourth up is Kevin Federline. Britney Spears' ex-husband remained relatively quiet after he split with the singer, but it appears he's looking for a check because he decided to write a memoir about his life and marriage to Spears. In it, he alleges the singer abused drugs (duh) and displayed erratic behaviour (duh again). You could infer that the backup dancer is trying to cash in on Britney's story since he's probably not getting any more child support payments now that the kids are grown. But Kevin says that's NOT TRUE and he needs us all to know his story, OK?! Britney commented on the memoir, calling it "extremely hurtful and exhausting." Despite much discussion about the book, it has made abysmal sales. Better luck next time, Kev!

Our last contenders are Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell. Another pair of stunt queens. These two celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary and of course they had to make it weird. Bell shared a photo on instagram with a caption saying Dax once told her, "I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I'm heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would." Uh, okay. Real romantic. Naturally people found the post strange and insensitive to intimate partner violence and murder which is sadly very common. But hey, they got us all talking about them again so looks like they win!
