EVENING NIGHTCAP: Toxic Hollywood Mom Group. SJP Is No Carol Burnett.

 

 ► Long forgotten C-list Disney actress and wannabe singer, Ashley Tisdale (40) is causing quite the ruckus with an essay she wrote for The Cut. In it she torched a toxic Hollywood mom group she was part of. Ashley joined the waspy den back in 2021 after the birth of her first spawn. Internet sleuths suspect Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, and Meghan Trainor as some of the celeb moms in the group. Um, being part of group with Meghan Trainor is a big NOPE. Meghan has boasted her bathroom has his & her toilets next to each other so she can feel closer her husband. Or some nonsense like that. I wrote about that a while back. 

At first, things were going swell with the group. I imagine a Hollywood mom group pawns off the kids to nannies so they can enjoy an afternoon of drinking mimosas and compare plastic surgeries. Things started to go south for Ashley when the moms began to exclude her and posting photos of their outings. She said she felt "frozen out".  Ashley wrote: 

“I texted the group after being left out from yet another group hang: ‘This is too high school for me, and I don’t want to take part in it anymore,’ ” she recalled. “It didn’t exactly go over well.” 

Ashley mentioned that when she first joined, she picked up a "weird vibe" about a mom who left the group and underwent similar experience. Ashley's essay drew the ire of Hilary Duff's husband, singer Matthew Koma. Um, why did he insert himself in this spat? BTW, he looks like Where's Waldo cousin who works at Half Price Books.  

In a now deleted post, Matthew took the 3rd grader route by photo-shopping himself on Ashley's body. *Insert eyeroll..real mature behavior, dingus.  He added the headline: “When You’re The Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers.”  Read More

Comment: Maybe Ashley did or said something that caused the moms to exclude her. If she did, the mom group should have brought it to her attention instead of giving her the silent treatment and behaving like Mean Girls: The Mommy Group Years. If Hilary Duff's husband's childish behavior is any indication of how these people act behind closed doors, it's no wonder Ashley decided to go scorched-Earth on them. For now, I will give Ashley a golf-clap for outing what sounds like a dysfunctional clique who enjoyed passive aggressive bullying. EDIT: BTW, I've never been a fan of Ashley. She sucked on HS Musical. The internet is suspecting she may be sniffing the farts of MAGA. So I take back my golf clap. 

► My Little Pony (Govt Name: Sarah Jessica Parker) will receive the Golden Globe's "Carol Burnett Award" on January 11. The award, established 6 years ago, is to recognize a person's contribution to television. Wait a sec...what in the hell has My Little Pony contributed to television besides Sex & The City? Comment: Carol Burnett achievements to the television industry and comedy are huge. She was the first woman to host her own comedy show. She has won a truck load of awards including two Peabody Awards, Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, a shitload of Emmys, several Grammys; plus she's 5 written books. Giving SJP this award when she's done nothing to earn it is a slap in the face to the amazing Ms. Burnett. SJP isn't worthy to hold Carol's curtain rod from the famous Gone with the Wind skit.
