Who is December's Shitbag of the Month?

Our first Shitbag of December is Quentin Tarantino. The foot-lovin' director sure put his foot in his mouth earlier this month when he decided to rag on Paul Dano for seemingly no reason. Tarantino was interviewed on Bret Easton Ellis's podcast where he shared his top 20 films of the 21st century. He discussed Paul Thomas Anderson's There Will Be Blood, whereby he said that the film was ruined by Paul Dano's performance in the role of Eli Sunday. The director said that Dano is "the weakest male actor in SAG" and "the limpest dick in the world." Yeesh! Owen Wilson and Matthew Lillard also caught strays, with Tarantino saying that he "doesn't care for" them. Many celebrities came out to defend Dano, including Ben Stiller, Colleen Foy, Joh Gad and even Alec Baldwin. Tarantino has not made any further comments.

Next up is Judi Dench. The 91-year old actress recently did an interview with The Radio Times and discussed her thoughts on Harvey Weinstein. Dench, who has starred in several of the convicted rapist's films, said that she recently saw footage of him walking with two canes and said, "Well, I imagine he's done his time...I don't know, to me it's personal - forgiveness." Uh, okay. Dench then said that she worked with Harvey and knew him well and "fortunately" she did not experience any sexual assault. Well she should consider herself lucky, then, since Weinstein was accused of sexual assault by nearly 90 victims. I imagine they might disagree with her sentiments.

Our third turd is Trey Songz. The 41-year old R&B singer was charged with two counts of assault and aggravated harassment after two separate incidents in NYC night clubs and bars. He was at a night club on December 4th when he allegedly "became irate" and punched an employee when they informed him that the club was closing. The other incident took place at a hookah bar, where Songz allegedly broke $1,500 worth of restaurant property, including hookahs, DJ equipment and sofas. The singer's lawyer says he is being cooperative, but claims that the plaintiffs provoked Songz "in pursuit of headlines or financial gain." Sure, Jan.

Next up is Tyler Perry. The producer was slapped with a sexual assault lawsuit this month from an actor named Mario Rodriguez, who claims Perry assaulted him during encounters in 2014 and 2019. Perry's lawyer vehemently denies the plaintiff's claims, saying this is nothing more than a $77 million cash grab. If this is sounding familiar to you, that's because Tyler Perry made our Shit List back in June for doing basically the same thing. An actor named Derek Dixon claimed he was assaulted by Perry, who used coercive control and promises of career advancement to exploit the actor. Perry's same lawyer also claimed that suit, which was for $260 million, was also a shameless shakedown of his innocent client.

Our last Shitbag contender is Russell Brand. Yes, this fucker has once again been charged with rape and sexual assault against two separate women. If you recall, he was charged back in April with rape and sexual assault of several women between 1999 and 2005. These new charges allegedly took place in 2009. Brand is going to spend plenty of time in the courts this year, since he's scheduled to appear in court on January 20th for these new charges, and then his trial for the original five offences kicks off in June.

And there you have it: our final batch of Shitbags. Please place your votes below and we'll see you very shortly to elect our 2025 Shitbag of the Year!
