This is Halloween! This is maybe the best movie to watch on Halloween, and it's an indie director's labour of love that originally tanked but ultimately became a huge cult hit.

This is Carnival of Souls.

Yes, the whole thing.

A young woman, none too bright a bulb at that, is caught in a car accident. Upending her life, she moves to a new town and attempts to begin again, but the townspeople are strange and unfriendly. She's drawn to a weird carnival, where a bizarre man stalks her, but she cannot stay away.  Yeah, not too bright.

On paper or pixels, it doesn't read like much, but trust...it's a classic for a reason.

For some unknown reason,  All's Fair has been renewed for a second season. The show, which is produced by Ryan Murphy, stars Kum K as a leading lawyer in an LA law firm. Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts and (of course) Sarah Paulson also star in the show. They joined Kim at the Rome Photocall event yesterday.  Butt of course Kim had to remind us that she paid good money for her ass and we had better get a good look at it! ClAssy. What do you all think of this look, Peckers? Credit: allsfaironhulu/instagram

OPEN POST: Manor Music Monday With The Sassy Sophie Tucker!

Greetings music sloots, and welcome to another edition of Manor Music Monday. It's almost Halloween, which means it's time for all good puddytats to watch out, because they could be snatched by dastardly foes. This does not include witches, as they were once known, or gayelles, as they're known at present, since then and now, they feed, brush and generally spoil those puddys they grab before finding them a good home. Surprisingly, DJ Li'l Scratch has managed to evade capture all these years, from friend or foe, even though he's on his 6th life and spans the ages.  Speaking of spanning the ages - how's that for a segue! - the one and only Sophie Tucker bridged the eras from the 1800's to the 1900's, and like DJ Li'l Scratch, there's no reason she can't continue streaking toward infinity and beyond. When you listen to her sing, Sophie will take you back to vaudeville's and burlesque's earliest days, a time she lived through, when the g...
