Couple Alert! Joshua Jackson and Lupita Nyong'o-Yay or Nay?

Image
It seemed like just yesterday when Joshua was cozied up with his wife, Jodi Turner-Smith , and a baby, looking happy and very much together. Then, it seemed out of nowhere that Jodi filed for divorce, citing the old celebrity favorite irreconcilable differences, and it broke my heart because I liked them together. Rumors spread that he was falling into another vagine, so who could blame Jodi? There are dealbreakers that most of us can understand, and cheating is high on that list for many. So Joshua had to pack his bags and get to stepping because Jodi is not that woman who would accept that; at least, that is the impression I got from their press releases.  Pacey! How could you?! I never watched Dawson's Creek, but I think he was Pacey and not the main idiot who is now afflicted with MAGA-itis disease. Really, though, if it is true that he stepped out, then he should be ashamed of himself. I sort of think it is true. He and Jodi had been looking happy at a red carpet event a few d

OPEN POST: Petite Nature Series All Over Paris and a Mexican Prison Cat

Image
It is Sunday, and I am fresh out of snark and I stumbled upon a story about a poor Sphynx cat that was rescued after a violent riot and prison break in Juárez, Mexico. How the cat survived with hardened criminals is beyond amazing. But the cartel assassins and gang members weren't all that kind. The poor thing has prison gang tats! You read that right. The damn fools tattooed the cat with one reading Hecho en Mexico-Made in Mexico like he was part of the notorious murderous Mexicles Cartel! Gang member tattoo close-up.  What in the world had that cat seen, and who the hell owned him? How did he survive? Why was he so healthy? Look at poor kitty...sigh...I decided to balance that outlandish story with something nice. Something peaceful and serene. How about art? How about a French artist making art for the masses to enjoy? Petite Nature series by the artist Steeven Salvat can be found in the streets of Paris in unexpected places, fascinating people who are lucky enough to see one. T

OPEN POST: This 100% Alien is the Archeology Find of the Millennium.

It seems as though Mexico's Congress has some extra time to tackle the real issues. Poverty? Cartels? No! They took time out on Wednesday to determine if two shriveled grey "corpses" were proof that UFOs exist and that they had been to Earth.  Jaime Maussan, a self-proclaimed UFOist with a history of pseudoscience and showing false alien remains, should have been adequately vetted. It is called Google. You put his name in the search bar, and there you have enough information about Jaime for any reasonable person to declare that it could be the optics won't look so bueno to the world. "Let us skip it because this guy is muy loco." The fact that he is the Mexican Dr. Phil mixed with L. Ron Hubbard and a large dollop of  "survivor of a bad LSD trip" mashed together didn't raise alarms? Before 2007 (when the tabloid shut its doors), chico would have been the editor of Weekly World New s. This is how outlandish this guy is, but this eluded them all?
