The unfunny pile of dung known as Russell Brand is being accused by four women of sexual assault, abuse and other salacious behavior. The victims claim the incidents occurred between 2006 - 2013. Russell released a video in which he vehemently denies the accusations which were brought to his attention by two media outlets.

In the video, he said, “I’ve received two extremely disturbing letters, or a letter and an email, one from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper, listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks. But amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks, are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute.”  The video he made is posted below, from his You Tube channel.

It was reported The Times Sunday and Channel 4 Dispatches teamed up in a joint report to invest the allegations in a documentary. The documentary is scheduled to air over the weekend. It includes interviews with the victims - one who was 16 years old at the time of the attack. The Guardian published an article that goes into more detail about their allegations. Read More

For the past couple of years, Russell has been on a quest to transform himself from a crass, degenerate unfunny comedian who played cruel jokes on others - to a yoga, incense burning "wellness guru" who has been courting controversy with his new found views. These include being an anti-vaxxer and sharing extremely right wing views on a variety of topics. IMO, his You Tube channel is full of misinformation including by those who follow him which are meant to stroke the flames of an already fractured society. I feel he's capitalizing and monetizing fear. But I digress, let's get back on track. I hope the police open a formal investigation into these claims and that they are thoroughly researched.
