EVENING NIGHTCAP: New Besties = Apocalypse Is Near. JLo's "Up All Night".

 

 ► After an exhausting 3 days of wearing couture, waving to plebs and sailing into Venice  in a mega yacht to attend Jeff Bozo and Dirty Sanchez wedding, new besties Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, and momager Kris Jenner needed to recuperate. They took their reign of entitlement terror to Spain where they sailed around the coast on a yacht the size of an aircraft carrier. The trio shared photos taken by Beelzebub Studios showing them sunning and planning their world domination. You just know these three harpies never leave home without their crew of photographers, stylist, make up artist, and hairdressers to capture impromptu moments like the one below. Comment: When I saw this photo, I immediately thought the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse needs to be updated to reflect modern society. Historically, the 4 horsemen were: War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death.  Let's take a moment and update it to: Materialism, Privilege, Greed, and Apathy.

► Well, it was a matter of time until Jennifer Lopez-Noa-Judd-Almost Affleck-Anthony-Almost Rodriguez-Affleck-TBD started trash singing about her divorce from Benito. If you recall, this time last year she released an album, two fauxmetries, videos, and a world tour to profess her love to husband # 4. The "This Is Me...Now" tour didn't put asses in seats due to poor ticket sales so she rebranded it as "This Is Me...Live". That didn't work. People didn't give a shit about her or her obsession with Affleck so the tour was cancelled.  Fast forward: they divorced and now she's re-branding last year's cancelled tour to "Up All Night".  The tour features a new song "Wreckage Of You" about her split from Affleck. I'm surprised she hasn't released a double-album about the breakup along with a 15-part documentary. 

JLo is touring select cities in Europe and the Middle East. She's scheduled to perform in Las Vegas at the end of the year. BTW, ticket sales for her European dates have been decent. Then again, most of the venues she's performing at are not big. In Turkey, she's performing at The Regum Carya Golf & Spa Resort. Their largest ballroom has 2,500 seating.  Anyhoo, the tour has been plagued issues including last minute changes to venues and postponements of dates at JLo's request. This has left fans pissed off and calling her behavior "unprofessional".  Read More

Comment: Of course JLo would change venues and dates at the last minute. It's diva behavior she's famously known for. This is the same person who will throw a hissy fit if any part of her 60-pages of backstage riders are not met. Out of curiosity, I took at look at ticket sales for the Vegas dates in December: everything is available. That's not a good sign. In other words, tickets are not selling for her shows at Caesar's Palace. Not even for her New Year's eve show. It could be that Live Nation and Ticket Master are not updating their systems. But I doubt it. Last year fans didn't want to hear her yodel for 2 hours about her 20-year love affair with Affleck. I doubt they want to hear 2 hours of her wailing away as a therapy session set to music. As JLo told her fans, "I'm coming out of this stronger".  That's the same line of BS she used after her multitude of divorces and countless broken engagements. Forget what the fans want. It's all about her, only her, 24/7.
