Ariana and Ethan's Timeline: When Did Their Messy Affair Start?
Some truths are becoming more apparent, which don't look good for the donut licker. Now my lovely hors, we know this is why the demise of her marriage timeline was pushed back to the very beginning of the year. I thought he was the one who cheated on her because there was something there that felt like Ariana was trying to save face. But I was so wrong. She is dating a very married man with a tiny infant who isn't even a year old. Yes, she is dating her co-star from Wicked, Ethan Slater, which has been going on for months! I asked for a gossip gift, and we received one.
Ariana has always been messy and bangs messy men, so this is on brand. No wonder this breakneck speed of declarations and blah blah blahs were coming in daily. They were trying to get ahead of this sordid story. It looks like her team was caught flat-footed and has scrambled to play down what is shaping up to be a very different story than the one they had been pushing in the media.
This is where the blah blah blahs start up again. These mysterious sources claim their relationship didn't heat up until he and his wife separated. I am not buying it. Nope. Sell that elsewhere. They want us to suspend our common sense and believe there was no affair. But then why were there claims she was trying to work out her marriage in May? Why was he posting all sorts of loving things to his wife and child during the same month? Doesn't add up. I am not a mathematician, but I can count, and if they were trying to reconcile in May, she was already riding the ginger stick, and Dalton Gomez was out in LA banging some randoms. Although it has been said he wants to try to make their marriage work, this is the door slamming shut in his face.
For her people to make this announcement at this juncture means that there is more. It is never this innocent with celebrities. Unfortunately, the sources have not gotten their stories straight because one said they have been together for months, another claims it is a recent development, and another says it began when they met on set. And he had been posting weird hints since December! He made his IG private when the news broke because some sleuths noticed some strange things that tell something other than what is being fed to the public.
Mr. Slater's wife, singer Lily Jay, was his high school sweetheart; they had been together for eleven years while he landed bit parts on television shows, and she was with him when he was nominated for a Tony Award for his role as Spongebob Squarepants in the Broadway show of the same name. So which civilian will cause the most problems, Dalton or Lily? If I were Lily, I would go nuclear and drag his sorry ass through as much mud as possible because the optics are terrible. No way around that. It looks bad. Ariana will be seen as a homewrecker and interloper because a baby is involved. While this might be true, you can only really wreck a home with help from the one who steps out, yet it will read this way to many. Her loyal fans will defend her, but I doubt that goodwill extends beyond them. Lily needs to be papped, looking like she spent all night crying and is shellshocked by the news, oh yes, and clutching the little bundle to her bosom. She should call us, and we could orchestrate this whole thing like the pack of maestros we are. We know the game, and the hors of the manor would know how to play this.
I predicted more would come out as the week went on, and just like in any celebrity breakup where an affair is involved, they set the stage to do damage control. As I read through some stories, Late Thursday's headlines started claiming she and Ethan are very much in love and have been spending time together, which is very real. What comes on Friday? Are they moving in together, or are they engaged? She hasn't even filed for divorce yet, and according to anonymous sources, neither has he. So were those ambiguous likes also a way to make an excuse for this situation? By painting Dalton as the bad guy, is this supposed to make her look justified in these actions? It is another poor look. Even if he is a shitty husband, making this look good when a baby is part of the story will be hard. It looks messy because it is messy, and her team will spin this in some way to make Ariana come out unscathed when this is over because we all know her relationships have a microscopic shelf life, and how about when she has to play Step Mommy to baby Ezra? Please, someone save that child from that disastrous fate. If I were Lily, I would fight to the death to make sure the Step Mommy Ariana scenario never happens. Or I would snatch out the three strands of hair Ariana has left on her head. After abusing her hairline for years her hairline threw told her to fuck herself, packed up left leaving her with a hairline that makes even Naomi Campbell cringe.
