Who is December's Shitbag of the Month?
First up is Jonathan Majors. On December 18th, Majors was found guilty of harassing and assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Back in March, Jabbari had seen a text on Majors' phone to another woman and confronted him while the two were travelling in a private car. Majors then assaulted her in an effort to retrieve his phone. There was video surveillance of Jabbari disoriented and upset on the sidewalk after the incident. Other allegations of past abusive behaviour have surfaced since this lawsuit. After being found guilty, Both Marvel Studios and Disney have dropped Majors along with his talent agency and PR firm. Well, at least Meagan Good is going to stand by her man!
Our second contestant is John Schneider. The 63-year old Dukes of Hazzard star found himself in hot water after tweeting that Joe Biden is guilty of treason and should be publicly hung, along with his son. Well the US Secret Service doesn't take shit like this too lightly, and the actor is currently being investigated. He has since deleted the tweet and made a lengthy post on Facebook, referring to the recent death of his wife. I guess grief can take many forms.
Third up is Kanye West. Kanye has already been nominated as Shitbag of the Month earlier this year, so he's really committing to the shitbaggery by cropping up again. This month, the disgraced rapper went on an antisemitic rant at a Las Vegas hotel. This is the latest in many incidents where West has expressed antisemitic sentiments, including posting a swastika on his twitter account which resulted in him being dropped by Gap and Adidas. Last week, he posted an apology message in Hebrew on his instagram account. Nothing says sincerity like an IG apology, amirite? Obligatory: Fuck Kanye.
Fourth on the docket is Oprah. The mega rich talk show host revealed this month that Ozempic is the true reason for her smaller physique of late. This is a change of pace for her since she's been swearing up and down that she's just been hiking more and eating less, and the pounds have just melted off! Oprah is certainly not the only celebrity to be taking this drug, and her history of weight struggles is well documented. However, it has rubbed many people the wrong way that she was so happy to deny the true reason for her major weight loss for so long. Not to mention the fact that there's currently an Ozempic shortage, so people suffering from diabetes are unable to access the drug and instead it's going to rich celebrities. Brings a whole new meaning to "eat the rich" huh?
Last up is Vin Diesel. The Fast & Furious franchise star was sued this month for sexual battery of his former assistant back in 2010. She alleges that he assaulted her in a hotel room and then fired her hours after the incident. Diesel of course vehemently denies the claims.
