Greetings, Manor Hors! Periodically, "The Roving Pecker" presents urgent missives from filthy esteemed guest writers. Today's is from D'Hermitage! ------------------------------------- They're baaaaack. The Pets of Peckerwood Manor have long kept secret diaries. Lucky for you, I stole more pages from a few and can now share their hush-hush scribbles: Nubs: 9:00 am - Waiting. Dreaming of my hallway adventures.  10:00 am - Still waiting. There’s a big family who have recently been coming to the building for a visit, but it seems like all their mother does is coral the kids in my hallway to make ridiculous poses! She takes lots of pictures and videos that sometimes the entire morning goes by, so I can't go out there to meet my friends and show them my ride, my outfit, and my very own poses. Bacon!' and a race ensued…in the opposite direction. Thanks for the tip, Nubs (of the House of Baconette). Recall rocks! And spaghetti!" FROM THE DIARY OF ABBIE:  "Me and dad usually play char...

Greetings, Manor Hors! Periodically, "The Roving Pecker" presents urgent missives from filthy esteemed guest writers. Today's is from D'Hermitage! ---------------------------------------------- Peckers! Welcome to the virgin issue of "Morning Wood," the latest addition to the manor where we start your day in green - meaning nature matters, the birds and the bees, the moss and the trees, famous people adjacent, and some-such morning activities. But not the numbered ones! We are not savages after all. I know, I know, when you think morning wood, Judi Dench is not what comes to mind, but today, we change that. Why-the-trunk-not? Because Judi Dench (Dame to the monarchists), loves wood all day long. Yes, the living one. Judi Dench is a hor for trees! Shush your hor mouth you say? Au contraire. She has lots of trees and other vegetation, and she names her trees in memory of her friends. I don’t know how the Linnaean nomenclature peeps feel about that, but she’s...
