Who is February's Shitbag of the Month?

Happy March, Peckers! Let's review the short list of Shitbags from the shortest month of the year! 

First up is Chris Brown. Now this man is a bona fide shitbag so it's no surprise seeing him on the list. The singer went on a rant earlier this month after being uninvited to play in the 2024 Celebrity NBA All Stars basketball game. He was pissed off at the sponsor, Ruffles, for asking that he be booted from the lineup. You know you're shit when even potato chips hate you. Brown says he's sick of people bothering him and is "tired of living in the f***ing past." Gosh, poor Chris. It's so unfair how mean people are to him! 

Our next candidate is Gina Carano. The former MMA fighter-turned actor is suing Disney for firing her ass from The Mandalorian back in 2021. She shared a bunch of MAGA views on twitter and mocked masking mandates during the pandemic. In her lawsuit (which is being funded by fellow Shitbag Elon Musk), Carano alleges that Disney and Lucasfilm harassed and defamed her for refusing to conform with their viewpoints on the Black Lives Matter movement, preferred pronouns, and claims about voting interference. Carano wants Lucasfilm to rehire her and is also demanding at least $75,000 in punitive damages. Let's all wish Gina the worst in her future endeavours.

Our turd  third Shitbag is Andy Cohen. The Real Housewives host and all-around slippery snake found himself in hot water last week when Brandi Glanville accused him of sexual harassment. Glanville claims Andy drunkenly sent her a video message saying he was going to sleep with another Bravo reality star and invited her to watch the act on Facetime. Cohen issued an apology on X, claiming that it was a joke and Glanville was clearly in on it. Nevertheless, he recognized that it was "totally inappropriate" which is accurate considering he was her boss at the time and had control over her "career."

Fourth up is Jenny from the Block herself. The singer scandalized her fans this month when she was the guest of honour and performed at the grand opening of the One&Only One Za'abeel resort in Dubai. Dubai has an infamous reputation for its human rights, with women and members of the LGBTQ community being persecuted. Anyone publicly identifying as LGBTQ is thrown in jail. So this didn't bode too well for JLo, as she has been a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ community throughout her career. She was paid $5 million for her appearance, disappointing fans that she put a check over her integrity. Boo, Jenny!

Our last Shitbag is Russell Simmons. The disgraced music producer has been slapped with a lawsuit alleging sexual harassment and battery brought by a former executive at Def Jam Recordings that took place in the 90s. The plaintiff claims Simmons invited her to his apartment one evening under the pretense of listening to a recording. He soon pinned her down and raped her. In the aftermath, the woman struggled to perform her job due to depression, anxiety, and repeated harassment from Simmons in the office. This is not Simmons' first sexual assault lawsuit: he was sued back in 2017 for sexual assault and rape, whereby he stepped down from various corporate roles as a result.
